You might have more luck if you go over to Stock Talk and pose that question there, at least for the livestock producers. Ray Jenkins and Ethanol Insider might be willing to represent industry. Sometime ago when there was a soybean crusher nearby I had a conversation with the person who handled their hedges. I got the impression that they hedged the oil & meal when they bought the beans but I'm not sure they hedged beans ahead. Like some grain merchants they operate on the margin between purchase cost and selling price and don't worry about anything else.
The other thing you might do is to go into the archieve back to 2011 & 2012 and see if livestock producers talked about hedging feed.
