NC KS | When I renewed, payments stayed level but I had to keep in place the existing practices and I voluntarily added 3 new ones. A couple of the new ones added a lot more dollars in.
It comes at a price as rainfall patterns the last 3 years has made more erosion problems which means grass has to be planted in those problem areas. If rainfall would switch to somewhat normal, those grass seeded areas are very productive. | |
