I don't necessarily agree. We all have strengths and weaknesses. Some guys are busier than others. Some specialize in livestock and need some assistance with crops. Some are better mechanics, etc. If agronomy isn't your strength or passion, or you don't have time to do everything, why not hire some help.

I suck at mechanics and some cattle stuff so I ask for help or ideas from guys that excel in that. Others ask me to look at their soil test or brainstorm ideas on spray programs. Kinda goes back to the love your neighbor as yourself sorta deal.
