Kingston,Mi | NE Ridger has a good link to the article, I tried earlier to link to a different site that had the same article. I believe I'll print it out and take it with me to Thanksgiving dinner at my nephews as there likely will be some gmo skeptics in attendance and of course some sweet potatoes !
Edit: in the article, the sweet potato is identified as a transgenic organism as are GMO's, the difference is one was a desirable occurrence in nature that has been exploited and enjoyed and the other is man manipulated, the interesting aspect is the organism that the dna snippet is from is the same organism that GMO experimenters use to move desirable DNA into the target organism.
