Your grandpa probably has some obligation to the two uncles who have been involved for thirty years. That's a working lifetime so if there is no legal obligation there is certainly a moral obligation. With your herd you must be involved to an extent already. All you can do is let the old boy know how you feel. It could be he's looking for you to make the first move.
