Thumb of Michigan | Was made aware of some people stealing from a elder friend of mine. I contacted social services, they have a specialist in senior citizen issues. The theft stopped, the pressure to sign real estate over quit, the will was left intact far as I know, the ss and pension checks went to buy food and medical care rather than into the thieves pocket. I don't know what repercussions there were for the thieves. Anyway, in this situation, in my opinion, it was the best thing to do.
