E.Central MN | My brother has used his Weber gas grill for 10 years at least. Its very seldom meat flares up in it and he's never had a problem with spiders in the gas line. The metal shields(flavorizer bars) that cover the burners keep the grease away from the flame and that keeps the burners from burning up/corroding away. When he puts steaks on the grill he turns the center burner down and cooks with the outer burners. He leaves the grill on for 10 minutes after he is done grilling, that takes care of any grease buildup. Extra fat steaks like some ribeyes should be trimmed a bit better before throwing on the grill. Nothing worse than buying nice steaks for a cookout and then wrecking them... | |
