Our corn looks the best ever from the road, but the ears are not overly impressive. Maybe the lack of sun had to do with it during the ear formation period. Lots of hazy smoky days.
Some are expecting a once in a lifetime crop, but those fellas probably haven't spent any time IN the fields. Good crop in Iowa, not fantastic in my opinion at this point.
