northcentral iowa | Based on what you describe I would say you planted a seed lot that was not high quality. Unfortunately most seed companies have become complacent about seed quality and unless situations like yours are forced back to them this trend will only get worse. Ask your dealer to have the company recheck the seed vigor (cold test) on that lot of seed and if any other customer had problems. DO NOT LET IT PASS. We all have to become better at evaluating seed quality performance or the companies will only pay even less attention to this very important product performance element. Good Luck. | |
