nw oh | It can be done. Takes $$$ and different mentality. We have 350 acres of Non Gmo beans and did not see one at time of post. 2-4D and dicamba combo in the fall. Followed by 24D, Envive and 4-8 oz of Sencor at burndown in the spring. Made post a lot easier with the wet weather just cleaning up grass. Not saying it will work every year has been successful for quite a few now.
Have to start realizing the days of $10-$15 chem costs for soybeans are over. One of the reasons we switched back to non Gmo beans, we were spending big $$ on pre's and burndowns to counteract marestail. | |
