central ILL | We have sprayed fungicide for years and i have never saw much above .5% moisture difference. I have seen yield boost from 3 bushel to 32 bushel per acre. If you have a Hagie or similar you can spray for around 15$ per acre. We have found out timing is critical too getting the biggest boost possible. We have learned just because the seed company tells you it wont pay on certain hybrids because their plant health is so good can be wrong. Had one company tell us their gray leaf spot rating was about the best you could get for that number, we sprayed it anyway and made 22 bu/ac more. I have all my yield maps too prove it. We have done several side by sides. | |
