I guess I'll ask the question that hasn't been asked yet,,,,,why only 30 lbs at planting? Guys here that are doing split applications put on 100 or more at or before planting,,,,,this year is making MANY rethink the strategy. Personally we put it all on with a stabilizer before planting as the situation you are facing is the norm for us. If you think that corn looks bad you really ought to go on a road trip,,,,let me suggest one. Come down I-29, hit 36, come all the way across to 61, go south to 54, west on I-70, north on 65, then zig-zag your way home. That stand of corn you have will have you driving 90mph to get home and get N on that, as you will already have it lined up sitting at the field before you get there
