Centre county Pennsylvania, USA | Not hard to believe that cycles in growing season weather may be the principle cause of cycles in production. Good growing weather causes over production and bad growing season weather causes under production. If we actually knew what good growing weather attributes were we could test that theory by correlation of the goodness weighted weather attributes with production. I believe the jury is still out on good growing weather attributes, and their relative weights.
Anyway, Nice weather report of not so nice weather Weather models are getting better, but it's still a guessing game. Your weather guesser may be correct this year, but maybe not.
