I dont own one, but from what I hear, the little spin on filter needs changed fairly often on the Allison, like every other engine oil change.
I guess it is a full flow element, and Allison runs all the oil through this circuit? I really dont know, just what i have heard, someone with more knowledge is needed to confirm this.
