Great White North | Somewhat related story. This happened to a friend. Driving down the street, light turns red, car in front of him stops 1/2 way into the intersection. He stays back so they can backup, driver backs up out of the intersection. When light turns green she mashes the go pedal, she was still in reverse and slammed into friends car. They exchange all insurance info and such. When she gets home her husband apparently takes over and claims my friend rear ended her...who's going to believe the reversing into and intersection story over a rear end. So my friend goes and puts up a sign at the intersection looking for a witness, someone calls him and they get him statement for insurance. Not sure what happened after that but I would guess your insurance goes out the window when you lie on your statement of what happened. | |
