WC Illinois
Monsanto, DuPont, syngenta set the price zones for traits. Dekalb, channel, pioneer salesman are not gonna sell to a customer out of their zone because they'll be fired. The regional companies such as wyffells, becks, Burris etc don't care because there just passing on whatever they get charged for that zone for that trait so there profit margin is unaffected if you buy there seed in a high price zone or low price zone. That's why you can buy non gmo seed from regional companies substantially cheaper than national brands because they set the price not DuPont, Monsanto, or syngenta. So to the regional company they don't care if they sell it to you in Missouri or Illinois. It's all just a tech fee so the more productive soils in your area the more Monsanto or DuPont are gonna try to take.
