Why are you peeling them and wasting all that flavor?? .. We quit wasting the peel years ago. Just grate the whole thing up and bake , We even tried grinding the cores up but the kids said the core casings were sticking between their teeth , That would leave more pie for dad and mom but mom went back to leaving the cores out,...
