In 2011, my wife and I leased a Jeep Wrangler. At that point in time, the interest rate on the lease was 0.48% and there was a bigger discount off sticker vs. buying cash or doing a conventional loan. The reason car companies do this is the keep a steady stream of used vehicles coming in. A lot of newer, low mileage vehicles for sale at dealerships are returned lease vehicles.
Why lease a vehicle?
