I should have gave a few more details. When I have turned with the planter up my screen will show the coverage as though I planted it. When I lower the planter the clutches will not engage where the coverage is shown, the same as it would do if I had planted it. I'm not as knowledgeable as I should be about the whole system, my dealer hooked up the system, I ran the harness and installed clutches and sensors, but he hooked up modules and programed things. Yes, I have the clutch module and seed monitoring module if that's what it's called and a switchbox. We did check the normally open normally closed on the switches and I can't remember which it is but think it would only plant if hooked up the one way. Dealer thought problem was maybe in the programing but maybe we need to check the wiring closer. I need to learn more but scared it might be beyond my ability. Thanks tedbear.

If you have a clutch module (for section control) and the STTM (Seed Tube monitoring module) you have basically the same setup as I do personally. The implement switch branch on the STTM should have a jumper in it (no connection to the implement switch). The implement switch should connect to the CCM (clutch control module).

For this combination of equipment to work, the implement switch must make a complete circuit when the planter is down in the planting position. Depending on the switch type and the location, this action can be backwards.

If this action is backwards like I think yours is, then you have some choices. If you have an Ag Leader implement switch that has two connectors - one labelled N.C. and the other N.O. then try the other connector. Some other implement switches have this choice but a cover needs to be removed and a wire moved. Other switches don't have this choice and the switch needs to be changed or remounted so that it completes the circuit when the planter is down.

I personally use the Deere button switches on the Deere bracket. I bought an extra pair for my planter. Deere has them on my planter for their own purposes but tying into the ones already there could cause confusion so I just bought a pair and put them on other rows. The Deere button switch is a Normally Closed type (backwards of a doorbell button switch). It completes the circuit until the planter is raised and the button is pushed. When using more than one switch they need to be wired in parallel. Pin A wire splits and goes to both switches, Other lead from switches are spliced together to go to Pin B.
