NW KS | I'm having problems with the electrical system on my combine. With everything running the voltage is being pulled down to around 12 volts and I will get a low voltage alarm. I have a local shop that does alternator work and they have tested the alternator and say it is putting out over 100 amps. I have cleaned the battery terminals and the plugs going to the alternator. When the combine is idling with nothing on the voltage is around 13.5 The batteries came with the combine and check out on a load tester. I have no idea how old the batteries are. Could the batteries still be causing my issues or am I missing something else? | |
