For washing equipment I would go to hot water. I used cold water gas powered Hotsy until two years ago. Finally gave in and bought a Hotsy hot water. I gave up gpm but it will do a better job of cleaning with the hot water. I still have the cold water machine but hardly ever use it if that tells you anything.
