Gauges (row) #1 & 15 are the "end rows" on a 15r applicator covering 16r. We apply 1.5x on the endrows & therefore use 1.5x orifices (ANH3 systems use orifices) on rows #1 & 15. This results in a higher pressure due to higher flow. I suppose we could upsize the orifices a little more, but app rates & crop N response seems normal across the bar width.
