I'm working on my skills of talking like a politician. I lead you to believe I was keeper her for myself. :) Actually a neighbor likes red cattle and wanted me to keep her and breed her up for him. So she won't be staying forever. The other 2..... I hope improve my herd or else I wouldn't have chosen them. One comes from a bigger cow but not bad. Was the biggest heifer but also the oldest. The others come from very moderate cows that always produce nice calves. One thing I did select these heifers on was that their Dam's all have nice udders and teats. I wanted to keep one heifer but her Dam has big teats and that's something that I hate. No reason I should have to help a calf start sucking when it's born.
