| I have a 6 cylinder turbo inter cooled deutz bought new with 2000 hours now which has burned 2 qts of oil per day since new. Based on the amount of fuel its using its within spec and deutz won't do anything about it. Mine is running 1800 rpm turning a line shaft turbine suppossed to take 80 hp and a 15 kw generator and seems to be loaded up pretty good. Also hard to start and smokes more than I think it should. I'm using 4.8 gph fuel. When this one blows up my next engine won't be a deutz. Seems like there are more JD or Case IH power units going in in my area. | |
