But it's looking more and more like if you don't abandon it, your phone manufacturer will. Samsung just inked a deal with Microsoft yesterday to cross license all of their smartphone related patents. This is telling me that Samsung is looking to crawl into bed with Redmond - probably due to the inevitable stiffing they anticipate from MotoGoogle now that they have their own phone. I don't think the "promise" Google made to Android partners to not withhold the latest OS releases in favor of their own device is really being believed. | |
