Central Iowa | So I'm trying to decide what's next in the precision world. Have yield monitor, Omni XP, row shutoffs, and autosteer. Wondering where i should invest next. Currently using yield history tied w/soil sampling for fert application.
1) variable rate fertilizer - considering purchase of dry spreader to variable rate my own fert
2) soil sampling - what is the return by doing myself?
3) variable rate planting--hard to know when this pays off
4) auto swath for chem app--not sure this will pay with mostly square fields
5) others?
