MOjeeper -  I'm not saying the iphone is a bad phone, but some people act like god himself created it. I like not having a locked down device. Heck you can't even change your own battery in an iphone.

As for the battery - how many people really NEED to change the battery. Apple's position is the battery should be lasting through the day. Yes, they eventually wear out and go bad, but in today's world these smartphones and related devices are only being used for two years and people are buying new again. This is really a non-issue, IMO.
