Freeware is generally worth what you pay for it. There is no support, service, customization, product evolution- you can have it.You need someone to stand behind the product. After a throrough vetting process we went with CyberScrub LLC's cyberCide product http://www.cyberscrub.com/cybercide
It was well worth the investment.


I can't speak to the cyberCide product; if you say it's good, I'll take your word for it.

When you say "freeware is generally worth what you pay for it", are you referring specifically to hard drive erasure/security software, or to freeware in general?
