Subject: Duct work cleaning

Kentucky
We have an older house that had central heat in stalled 65-70 years ago. Original furnace was coal, then fuel oil, and most recently LP gas. Just wondering if duct cleaning is something we should consider. Wife called Coit. Apparently it went to a central number in San Francisco. Told her they would come out and give a no obligation free estimate. Told her in some cases the could do the job the same visit as estimate. Nearest service provider is 60 miles away. Not sure I have a lot of confidence that the service may be needed, or reasonably priced. Anyone have experience with this sort of thing?

Thanks,

Daryl in KY
