I print photos & buy a fair amount of ink. I often use Amazon & find there are several suppliers that sell the "starter packs" that come with a printer (Epson in my case) and are seemingly to me a good bargain, even though I realize they're reduced ink quantity. I've used them for quite some time & am satisfied 100% with the economics.

But...assuming 1 printer comes from SEA somewhere with a starter pack in it, where do these ink companies get all the starter packs to sell?

By the way, thru the years I've run the gammit of inks. Filled my own (never again), bought generics (done with those), and purchased direct from mfg (Epson). I'm satisfied w/these starter packs.
