Montana | I did a renewal of my conservation Stewardship program last year. I wanted the enhancement that would have required Bird and varmint ramps in each of my 32 stock tanks. I was not able to meet the requirements of this enhancement because our NRCS technician said we had to remove all fences or covers on all of our tanks in order to meet the requirements for swooping birds and Bats.
Was anyone anywhere allowed to enroll in this enhancement without removing fences or covers?
I have plenty of room for swooping birds and bats, where cattle drink, but I need covers or fences to divide pastures or keep cattle out of the tanks. | |
