Subject: Quit chewing, sleeping issues

SC Wisconsin
Anyone else had major sleeping issues when using or quitting nicotine products of any kind? I have either smoked, chewed, or a combination of the 2 the last 5 years, could never really fully kick the habit. Well the last couple months have been pretty high stress for me so I've been chewing a lot more, and my dreams have been like extremely vivid, and downright wild at times. I think the nicotine is really to blame for this, as recently I would sometimes oversleep my alarm, other times i would wake up, shut it off, and fall back asleep. And not for like 5 minutes, but a lot longer. Once it was 3 hours! I think the dreams are wrecking my REM sleep patterns and therefore i am not getting the rest i need. So Tuesday I ran out and decided I'm not going to buy anymore. I'm still having the dreams though, so I'm kind of concerned. Anyone else ever have stuff like this happen to them? TIA
