| Just saw an yield estimate on corn from Decatur, IL. I am not going to repeat the number because it is way too early to get that crazy. I could just hear my father rolling over in his grave wondering what the heck is wrong with us farmers. If it is not enough for the usda to start guessing in August we as farmers have to share in the madness. With this instant communication of the internet there are not many secrets out there. I guess just shows I am now getting older. I will make a stab at my own yield estimate after mid august to make final fall plans for storage and deliveries. But I am not going to publish them on the internet. | |
