South Dakota | We are putting a concrete pad down behind the house to put a 3 seasons room on part of it and firepit on the other part. Two questions. First, is it a problem to have it ready to pour and not pour for a couple weeks? I have time to get it ready now, but probably won't be poured until mid august. Second, should I connect to the house foundation with rebar or let it float? Pad will be 4" with the edges being 10-12 and I am going to dig post holes on each corner and fill with cement. Pad is L shaped with one part 12 X 18 and the other part 12 X 24. | |
