ECIL | What do you guys fertilize your cereal rye with if you're growing it for seed? I have some heavy clay soils but good OM, tiled a couple years ago but lots of moisture still held in little low areas but not enough to hurt wheat much. I put 100# of N on my last wheat, root growth stimulator and some foliar fert and got 91 bpa. Very happy with that since first ever wheat crop and not tiled at that time. Anybody care to share their rye seed yields? I hear 50 bpa is good. | |
