Southeast Iowa, Keota | Took pickup to service station to get oil cooler lines replaced that were leaking. Decided to change filter on transmission, 79,000 miles. Don't know if it had been changed before or not. Oil was dark. Pickup now at stop signs will stop and then lunge or shift out hard. What in the world could cause this all of a sudden? One mechanic says detergents in new oil cleaned out any gunk in transmission and that is the reason. Is this tranny junk or is there some other problem? | |
