PE
I'm installing a belt drive on my pto generator and it would make life a whole lot easier if I could ridgid mount the belt tensioner. I can slot the mounting holes for adjustments but to incorporate a spring assist would make the fitment cumbersome.

The driven pulley is 3.5" diameter double v-groove while the driver is 11.5". Driven pulley is 1800 rpm and driver is 540 rpm. I can engage over 3/4 of the 3.5" pulley to help reduce slipping.

This system is only for my home back up and would likely see a max use of 10 hrs a year, hopefully.

How long do belts need to run to be broken in?
