central mn | So I asked last week bout hay cutting dates. Long story short, never got it cut due to more rain. Looks like more in forecast for this week. Too much growth to leave for winter, afraid it will smother new crop in spring. Does anyone wait til a killing frost and then cut it? Just wondering how this would work? Never been in this situation, the weather this year has been fun! Might have three days of sun this week and I know that won't be enough to get dry, chopping is not an option and I really don't wanna wrap it as we aren't set up for it. Thanks in advance | |
