Subject: IH 1566 rear wheel hubs

Central Minnesota
I am in the process of trying to get my 1566 to 30" rows. Right now, the hubs are dished in, and I need to get them dished out in order to get it to 30" centers. I have the dual hub off, as well as all the wedge's loose for the tire/rim. I know there are two wedge locks that tighten up to the axle. My question is.........I got them broke loose, but do I have to take them completely out? Also, how do I get in to tighten them back up when the bolts are facing the tractor? Also, I had to heat the nuts for the U bolts on the dual hub to get them to come loose, should I not use them and get new, or will I be ok re using them even after heated. The hubs say torque to 900 ft./lbs, so I just wanted to make sure I would still be ok even after they were heated. I am going to be using this tractor to pull my semi mounted planter, so it will have a lot of strain on the hubs, and just want to make sure to get it right the first time, so they don't come loose. As always, thank you for any help!
