NE SD | I have a piece of sand at home that is 95 acres that I would like to irrigate. It is 1/2 mile long, and I think a regular quarter section pivot could make a little more than half a swing and cover it all minus the corners, maybe 80 acres or so. What suggestions do you irrigators have for me? I may be able to get a used (1989) Valley for $15,000 3 miles away. There are pivots all around and wells for ones across road are only 70 feet deep. Three phase power crosses this field currently. What questions do I need to ask? How much will it cost? I would appreciate any input! | |
