Subject: How good do duals need to be?

swohio
Went from 18.4x38's on my 5288 to new 18.4x42's on step up rims. Can't afford another set of new 42's at this point and have found almost nothing in way of lots of life left tires for duals. Have found a couple of sets, but the Firestone ones are maybe 10-15%. Only use tractor for planting and a little discing once in awhile. Have new Firestone radials on inside, can very little life left duals be ok for what I'm doing? Most planting is no-till and planter is a 12 row IH cyclo, the tractor doesn't get worked very hard. Thanks.
