Learned from a newsletter that the local vet (actually we have two, but one is over 80 and I hate to trouble him) broke his leg Friday and swelling is so bad, he probably won't have a cast put on until this Saturday.
I hope I can retire before our vet does, because we're liable not to have one afterwards.
