Northeast Nebraska | Am I the only one who struggles with the crap thread pitch on these filters?
I’ve had to return about 4 of the last 20 LF14000nn oil filters. Can’t get them to thread on. Grab a new one from cabinet and it goes right on.
Yesterday I did an oil change and thought filter got tight. I’m not sure, but I think I even turned it with the filter wrench a little bit. Today I get a call that it leaked all over and lost oil pressure.
I do remember thinking to myself that I didn’t like the way it felt going on, but then forgot to check it after I ran the engine.
Anyone else experiencing this? I have 9 trucks and only having issue with the three Cummins I have. I hate it so much I’m pretty sure I’m done with Cummins in the future | |
