In our church we use M/S Power point and a data projector onto a wall screen. All 12 yrs old, so we organized a replacement projector and wider screen. Went from 4:3 ratio screen to 16:9 wide screen. Set up the new data projector, got focus and keystone all organized, ran a youtube video for a trial. Beautiful - full screen, no distortion, brilliant detail, all happy! The brightness has gone from a 2600 lumen projector to a 4000 lumen! Wow. BUT - we have a problem projecting Power Point. The image [presentation set up in 16:9 ratio - not the old 4:3 ratio] does not fill the screen, leaves a black border around the projected slide. The old 4:3 filled the screen. We looked for settings on the P/Point on the computer, but so far have not found what we need to set it right. The ratio is right, the black area is the same all round, and the video projected full screen from the laptop. Figure it is not the new data projector, as the blue screen was all set up for focus and keystone, and the video filled the screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated - as in where do we find the setting change we need? Thanks. |
