Subject: Durability of Transfer hoses

Eastern Ontario

I'm looking to change the transfer hoses on the fertilizer supply truck for the planters.

Currently using a 1" clear braided hose, but want to upgrade to at least 1 1/4" or 1 1/2 ".

The one I have now like to kink a lot but are fairly durable.

How do the fertilizer solution hoses last? Seems like the rubber is fairly soft and flexible, but what about leaks and cracks, etc.

Or would the  PVC hoses hold up better? I find they are much stiffer though. Makes it hard to roll up in cold weather.

I just don't want to be fixing leaks  or wrestle with the hose all the time.

I know these are available, but looks like they are made from UnObtainium.

What are you guys using and what is the most durable?
