Nevada, Iowa | Every once in awhile an old post floats up on my active threads. I really should read those more often as I am often humbled by my ignorance or humiliated by my arrogance.
This one popped up today due to a late response. https://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=941171&mid=840... I should have taken that bet. Little did we know that derecho would change our vocabulary and our mindset some 10 days later but I don't think we would have made APH even with out that little helper.
Even so, it was humbling because I remember having a phone call with some friends shortly after thinking that if somehow beans should manage to get to 9, we had better pull the plug on any old crop and fast. One never knows and a few months can really shift the gears. Such is life! | |
