NW Iowa | I've got an L180 that needs new hubs in the lower arms (the welded in part that the face plate pins sit in). Has anyone replaced these before and can give me some tips on the best way to go about doing this? I will be replacing the face plate at the same time (all new bushings and pins). The hub and pins are tapered, and held together with a bolt. The taper is plumb worn out, causing a lot of slop and the bucket's weight basically rests on the bolt instead of the pins as it should now. Bolts break quite frequently when running it hard.
