South Dakota | Is a Case IH MX 170 adequate to run a Krone 1290 XC 3x4 large square baler? The owners Manual says that minimum horsepower requirement for the baler is 145 HP. The MX 170 is listed on tractor data at 166 hp. I know people absolutely love the MX 170s and they're supposed to be nearly bullet proof.
