Subject: question for woodworkers

Manitoba
Yesterday I cut some wood on my Sawstop cabinet saw and it threw a lot of dust out over the table. I have a 1600 cfm dust collector with 4" hose and had the overarm tube connected to the blade guard. It used put very little dust out beside the saw. I thought there must be a restriction somewhere, but everything was open. Then I thought of it that I had put in a new 80T blade with negative rake, where before I used a 40T blade with positive rake. Would the difference in the rake of the teeth cause one to throw the sawdust down into the cabinet, and the other to throw it out over the table?
