North Central MN | Does anyone here work with a farm business specialist? I looking at utilizing some FSA funds as part of an expansion. I used FSA funds to by my farm when I started. Was sooo glad to get rid of those people. The special interest groups have alot of influence on your property when you are repaying an FSA loan. However a requirement of the expansion loan is to hire a farm business manager. A couple of the local 2-year schools offer a person who works with you and more-or-less compares you to other similar farm businesses. $1000/year. Was it worth the money? Did you learn anything that made you more efficient? | |
